Personal Data Protection Clarification Text for Our Users Who Contact Us via the Contact Form

According to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("Law"), YÖRÜKOĞLU TİCARET TURİZM TARIM PETROL ENERJİ İNŞAAT A.Ş. ("Hereinafter referred to as 'ETHNO HOTELS'") is defined as ETHNO HOTELS due to its processing of your personal data. In accordance with Article 10 of the Law titled "Obligation to Inform," data controllers are obliged to inform natural persons whose personal data they process on certain matters.

This text has been prepared by ETHNO HOTELS in order to comply with the legislation and to be transparent and accountable.

Definitions

According to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698:

Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person;

Processing of Personal Data: refers to all kinds of operations performed on personal data such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, altering, rearranging, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying, or preventing the use of personal data by fully or partially automatic means or by non-automatic means provided that they are part of any data recording system;

Data Subject refers to the natural person whose personal data is being processed;

Data Controller refers to the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system;

Obligation to Inform refers to the obligation of the data controller or the person authorized by the data controller to inform the relevant persons about the identity of the data controller, the purpose for which personal data will be processed, to whom and for what purpose the processed personal data may be transferred, the method and legal reason for collecting personal data and other rights listed in Article 11 of the Law.

Data Subject: You, who have contacted us via the contact form and whose personal data we process as a result, are defined as the data subject by the law.

Data Controller: The data controller is [ETHNO HOTELS], which determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data, and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system.

Article 5/2(f) of the KVKK: Based on the necessity of processing data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, without violating the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject. (Provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, we store your personal data based on the clause that data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller.) 

Your data is processed by us. Additionally, your contact information (email, phone number) may also be used for communication activities based on your explicit consent in accordance with Article 5/1 of the KVKK.

To Whom and for What Purpose Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your personal data may be transferred to the relevant authorities without the requirement of disclosure or explicit consent if requested within the scope of Article 28/1 of the KVKK.

Apart from this, in unforeseen circumstances, your personal data may be transferred to public institutions (administrative authorities such as Ministries) specified in the laws upon request in accordance with the purposes and limitations expressly defined in the relevant laws.

Except for our legal obligations that do not have an obligation to inform and do not require your explicit consent; your personal data is not transferred.

Methods of Obtaining Personal Data

Your personal data is obtained through automated methods when you fill out the contact form on the website.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Data

Data subjects must first communicate their rights regarding their personal data to the data controller.

Under the law, regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

a) Learn whether your personal data has been processed,

b) Request information if your personal data has been processed,

c) Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with its purpose,

d) Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, whether domestically or internationally,

e) Request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,

f) Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data in cases where the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist,

g) Request that the actions taken under items (d) and (e) be communicated to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,

h) Object to occurrence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,

i) Demand compensation for any damages you may suffer due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Application Method

You can submit your application:

· By sending an email with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature to the registered email address: [email protected],

· By sending an email to [email protected], provided that your email address is registered in our system and you use the same email address.

Your application must include:

· Your name, surname, and signature if the application is in writing,

· For citizens of the Republic of Turkey, your Turkish ID number; if you are a foreigner, your nationality, passport number, or, if applicable, your ID number,

· Your residential or workplace address for notification purposes,

· Your email address, phone number, and fax number, if applicable,

· The subject of your request.

Additionally, any relevant information and documents related to the subject must be attached to the application.

ETHNO HOTELS reserves the right to verify your identity. For procedural rules to be followed during the application process and more detailed information, you can refer to the "Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller" published by the Personal Data Protection Authority.
